Description

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the property;
Develops and implements the maintenance activities to cover all tasks to be completed on a regular basis, plans for emergency situations.
Makes the plan for regular preventative maintenance and upgrades, as necessary, all technical services & components of the building including electrical systems, mechanical systems, energy management systems, fire alarm/safety systems, elevator systems, grounds, parking, patio, basement, renovation, etc. and practices accordingly.
Keep updating the tasks progress to GM, Maintenance Manager and relevant DEPT. weekly until job closes.
Supports the service personnel in any way possible to enhance guest services.
Some maintenance duties inside/outside of the building, keeping the hotels appearance at its best.
Duties associated with Maintenance Manager position including but not limited to the below.


Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills in English.
Must be flexible in working various shifts based on Operation needs.
MMP(Maintenance Management Professional Certification Program) is strongly desired but not necessary.
Proficiency in HVAC, mechanical, electrical, elevator relative, woodwork, plumbing, electrical, drywall, grouting, grounds, maintenance, small appliances, etc.
Three to five years previous work experience in a similar capacity is required. Previous background or experience in hotel maintenance/engineering is desirable.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail are mandatory for this role.
Familiar with the law, local bylaw and legislative standard which is relative to the maintenance events is necessary.
Secondary School education requirements.
