We are seeking an administrative assistant to fill an important role in a successful insurance and investment business. The position has a work week of Monday-Thursday from 9-4pm. There is opportunity for additional hours should they be deemed necessary. If you are wanting the flexibility of long weekends and hours that allow you to attend family events, this may be a fit for you. The successful applicant will begin work September 6th.

The successful applicant will have administrative skills and the ability to learn on the fly in a fast-paced setting.
You will be part of a team of admin staff and advisors who work to provide quality advice to clients. Training to be provided but must be able to work well on your own.

This is a salaried position that offers holidays, personal days as well as a group benefits and savings plan. You will be a team-oriented person who is quick to learn and willing to help others.

-Reception duties
i.Answer main line
ii.Greet clients
iii.Maintain & order office supplies
-Client relationship management
i.Appointment confirmations
ii.Contact clients and book meetings
-Advisor support
i.Preparing client files for meetings
ii.Keep advisor organized
iii.Other duties/tasks assigned by advisor(s)
-Individual & Group Insurance administration
i.Review of forms for accuracy & completeness
ii.Helping clients with requests as needed
iii.Manage the underwriting process
iv.Communicate with carriers as needed
v.Ensure tracking is accurate and up-to-date
vi.Investigate and solve administrative issues accurately & completely
