Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individuals to for the role of Water Treatment Plant Operator. We will provide on the job training. In this role you will be an integral member of the Field Service team focusing on the maintenance, optimization and maximum performance of our Industrial Waste Water Treatment Systems.

Skills & Qualifications:
Industrial mechanic/millwright experience a definite asset  
Must have a strong mechanical skills and/or electrical skills
Previous oilfield experience or farming background would be an asset
Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently or as a part of a team
Proven ability to make sound independent judgments and decisions
Desire to learn and advance training
Basic computer skills
Must possess a valid drivers license
Must be physically fit to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
Valid First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance, Fall Protection, and PST safety tickets are an asset, but will train if needed
Ability and willingness to work varying hours

Responsibilities & Duties:
The successful Candidates will assist senior staff in the following:
Day-to-day hands on operations and maintenance of water treatment systems and all related equipment in a manner that maximizes production and minimizes operating costs
Operation of modern computer control systems
Troubleshoot operational problems; identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
Monitor and inspect equipment, systems and recorded instruments to detect malfunctioning
Collect and test water samples; analyze test results and instrument readings to calibrate equipment accordingly
Perform mechanical repairs and modifications on equipment to meet site specifications
Provide technical contributions to project documentation
Coordinate with consultants and clients on site in a professional manner
Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
Extensive travel required for varying periods of time
