Description

The La Ronge Medical Clinic, a family physicians medical practice, requires the services of a medical office assistant to work in the Clinics Lab.  This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for escorting patients to the exam rooms, performing minor testing, assisting physicians, restocking supplies and exam rooms and other duties as required

The ideal candidate will require a:
    Grade 12 education and preferably previous experience in a medical environment.  
    Computer skills and the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently individually and in a team setting.
    Keen attention to accuracy, attention to detail, organizational skills, dedicated  attendance practices and professionalism, good communication skills.
    Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and a multi-cultural demographic.    
    Emphasis on safe and quality patient care is required and the ability to adapt to new technology in order to enhance the existing administrative team is required.
This is an out-of-scope position.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
