Little Discoveries is looking for high school students to join our team. Our student employees spend part of the afternoon with the children and the other part helping to keep our center clean. The successful applicant will be scheduled 3 to 5 days per week from after school to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday. Extra hours will be available on non-school days and during the summer. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older to apply and must be available a minimum of 3 evenings a week.
Essential Skills

- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Additional Skills
- Assist in housekeeping duties
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits

- Criminal record check (abstract)
- Child abuse registry check
