Regina Crime Stoppers is seeking a part- time Executive Director. The position carries an expectation of 30 hours of dedicated support each month for a remuneration of $1,500.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high degree of professional competence in the following key responsibilities.
coordinating all Board meetings, including agendas, reports, locations, timing, meals & materials in coordination with the Executive, including population & maintenance of a non-profit portal.
oversee the Board strategic planning process in cooperation with the Executive, as well as recruitment & onboarding of new Board members & the needs of all existing members.
support the maintenance of development of key relationships with partners such as Regina Police Service, the City of Regina & the Government of Saskatchewan.
preparing logistics & communications for public events, speeches, news releases, backgrounders & posting items to social media channels.
assist the RPS designated Crime Stoppers constable with key communications and logistical operations, and support.
create, maintain & manage support items, such as displays, brochures & videos, oversee the execution of all public events in cooperation with third party suppliers.
supporting the various fundraising & community relations activities of Regina Crime Stoppers, including approaching & recruiting sponsors & ensuring sponsor contracts are fulfilled in cooperation with the Board.
The successful candidate will offer a minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in a professional management setting, with demonstrated skills in communications, marketing & administration being highly valued. Past experience in a non-profit setting & working with volunteers is an asset.
