Moon's Cafe is currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager for a full time permanent position in Grenfell, Saskatchewan. We are a well established Chinese restaurant with a great reputation. Compensation is negotiable.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Assist in overall management of the restaurant,
    General staffing related management, hiring, training, coaching, as well as addressing and resolving employee relation issues,
    Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance,
    Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed,
    Organize marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes,
    Oversee and manage food costs including ordering suppliers, production and weekly inventory, ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of orders and catering services,
    Monitor and evaluate meal preparation and service to ensure established standards are maintained for both quality and quantity,
    Oversee and ensure general maintenance and cleanliness of property is maintained at all times,
    Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies,
    Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or reservations for special events, and
    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
    Must be able to work 40 hours a week, including the requirement of working evenings and weekends,
    Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager is required,
    Attention to detail & eye for quality execution, yet can think outside the box,
    Thrive in a fast-paced environment and comfortable multi-tasking,
    Verbal fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin will be preferred, and
    Excellent inter-personal skills.
