Provides safe and reliable vehicle transportation for high-risk clientele. They will establish an effective rapport with clients and be responsible to ensure all individuals follow mandated procedure.
Ideally, the CUMFI Housing Driver will be an Intake Worker as well as drive bus. Must have experience working with individuals that are chronically homeless, homeless families and/or homeless veterans, and knowledge of local Indigenous and non-Indigenous housing options and existing community programs and services.
The Housing Driver position is a component of the Mobile Community Resource Centre Project. The driver will be responsible for the operation and care of the Mobile Community Resource Centre Vehicles. The ability to drive a large vehicle is paramount.
Qualifications;
- Must have a Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Must provide a clear drivers abstract
- First Aid & CPR
- Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse check
- Must have strong knowledge of Metis & First Nations culture
Full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
