Position Description

Supervise the kitchen team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
Must be able to Supervise 2-3 staff member at a time in various areas of responsibility
Supervise the service of food and beverage items for orders
Address guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
Have full knowledge of all menu items being served
Follow store policies, procedures and service standards
Actively involved in the training of new employees
Coach and monitor performance of staff in a positive work environment
Prepare employee weekly work schedules if assigned
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 1 year work experience as a shift supervisor or similar role in a restaurant
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time and work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and pizza oven
Understanding of food hygiene
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
Positive, cheerful, guest service-oriented attitude
Ability to delegate tasks to team members
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness and ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team setting and with others at all levels of store
Possesses high standards for service, dining, cleanliness and organization
Ability to work without direct supervision
Able to carry/lift heavy objects when needed (up to 30 lbs)
