Description

OuTcomes Therapy is an innovative occupational therapy clinic serving children and youth in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are expanding and looking to hire an occupational therapy assistant to provide occupational therapy services in schools.

Job Description:
    Implement high quality, client- and family-centered occupational therapy services;
    Effectively communicate and collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to develop outcomes-based supports and services;
    Manage a caseload and complete administrative tasks such as documentation, service plans, and reports for internal and external use;
    Participate in training, program development, and team meetings as needed;
    Support parent and community training workshops, as needed; and,

Requirements:
    Experience working with children and youth with additional needs;
        Education in Rehabilitation, Healthcare, Early Childhood Education, Education, and/or Kinesiology
    Able to provide a Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Persons Check;
    Possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and vehicle for travel within Regina and across Southern Saskatchewan
    Possess current First aid and CPR certification;
    Be flexible, adaptable, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times;
    Be willing to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends;
    Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is an asset;
    Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
    Effective organizational, decision-making, and time management skills;
    Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team; and,
    Experience working with indigenous communities an asset.
