Description

The Crisis Intervention Worker, Overnight Shift Rotation reports to and is responsible to the Director of Residential Programs on all aspects concerning the residents and the physical operations of the Interval Home. This role will provide consistent coverage for overnight Emergency Shelter shifts, 11:00pm-7:00am. The positions hours are negotiable as part time or fulltime and may include 1 daytime shift per week as agreed upon.
JOB DESCRIPTION
-The Crisis Intervention Worker is responsible for meeting the varied needs of the residents of the Lloydminster Interval Home.
-Deals firsthand with crisis situations
-Telephone Assessments
-Determines the physical and mental needs of the resident
-Records accurate information in files, on computer, and with regards to other forms of reporting
-Orientates residents to the Shelter
-Maintains confidentiality and high professional standards
-Makes referrals for clients
-Assists clients with safety plans and case plans
-Responsible for maintaining a high standard of health and cleanliness and safety within the Home.
-Coordinates and assigns daily household duties
-Coordinates and assists in meal preparation, cleaning of rooms, general house cleaning, house laundry and gardening and maintenance
