Job Description: The Development Consultant is responsible for implementing Primary Health Care projects in collaboration with managers within Primary Health as well as other departments within and external to the SHA.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 Driver's license
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Degree in a Health care discipline, Social Science, Community Development or Administration.
Experience
3 - 5 years' experience in interdisciplinary team management and/or facilitation or community development. Specific experience in a primary healthcare setting is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A conceptual, strategic thinker with knowledge, skill and ability to apply concepts and strategies to practice
Ability to consult, engage and interact with internal and external clients to facilitate relationships to meet goals and objectives
Affinity for conceptual thinking and program development
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and act as a change agent
Ability to integrate computer knowledge with the need for team communication, common record keeping within a primary health care setting
Ability to work efficiently and effectively as a part of a cross functional team
Knowledge of the healthcare system in Saskatchewan
Basic knowledge of the LEAN management system
Superior conflict resolution skills
Strong facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to facilitate change.
Knowledge of First Nations and Metis history in Saskatchewan along with an understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action
Proficient in computer software (Wo
