Viterra is seeking a Customer Account Representative Trainee. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the promotion and sales of grain programs and services at the assigned facility.

The Customer Account Representative Trainee role is a temporary training opportunity intended to prepare the successful candidate for a future Customer Account Representative role with Viterra. The length of the training program will vary based upon individual; however, is typically 12 to 18 months in duration. Once the Customer Account Representative Trainee has successfully completed the training program, the Trainee will be required to apply for Customer Account Representative vacancies throughout Viterras Country Operations group. As such, candidates must be willing to relocate. More information in regards to the Customer Account Representative Trainee role and the requirement to relocate will be available at time of interview.

Knowledge and Skills:

Must possess good interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Demonstrated knowledge of modern farm practices and industry regulations.
Proven ability to work independently.
Must be willing to relocate.

Education and Qualifications:

Grade 12 or recognized equivalent. All other post-secondary education in Commerce, Marketing, Administration or Agriculture will be considered an asset.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
