Apex is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service and support to the energy industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Shop / Field Technician for our Gull Lake branch. Our ideal candidate will be willing to work both in the shop and in the field.
The Shop / Field Technician will be responsible for:
Cleaning, washing, and organizing equipment, the shop, wellsites, and yard
Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of all equipment
Operating a loader
The desirable candidate will possess:
A positive attitude and a desire to learn
Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work in the field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability and desire to perform physical labour
Oilfield or rig experience
A clean class 5 license and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
Previous mechanical, plumbing and electrical experience is considered an asset
