Description

The Moose Jaw Multicultural Council Inc. Daycare is looking to hire an energetic, creative, driven and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team for a permanent full time position.  Applicants will be working with children 18 months to 12 years.  

Preference will be given to those that have or are willing to obtain Level I, II, or III.  

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain a current criminal record check and valid CPR/First Aid.

After successful completion of the probation period  benefits, pension and RRSP opportunities are available.

Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
 - Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
 - Prepare and serve snacks
 - Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
 - Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
 - Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
 - Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
 - Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
 - Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
