Description

We have an immediate need for qualified Educational Assistants (I and II) at both elementary and secondary levels across our division. Educational Assistants assist and support educational programming to students with special learning needs, helping students achieve their maximum potential. Duties include supporting students with personal care and other health care needs.  These positions will be permanent -temporary/full time and/or part time starting August 29, 2022.  Some positions are confirmed to the end of June 2023.  Other positions are currently confirmed to the end of March 2023, with the possibility of extending to the end of June 2023.  Please include which community(s) you would be interested in, as well as preferences related to full or part time hours with your cover letter.
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
Preference will be given to an individual who has obtained a post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program
