Description

The Manager, Information Security Operations leads a team of Information Security Specialists and Information Security Analysts. The Manager provides guidance, direction and thought leadership in the delivery of the day-to-day operations of the Information Security Operations practice, which addresses and involves complex technical solutions. The Manager leads the team to identify opportunities for improvement of processes, to mitigate risk and to safeguard the information assets.

Primary Responsibilities
*  Leads a team of technical security specialists and analysts
*  Lead the design and execution of the enterprise security operations processes, procedures, and playbooks
*  Oversee and lead the security operations team in identification and response to Information threat activities and incident response
*  Develop and lead Information threat intelligence efforts to identify and analyze long-term and short-term Information threat actor groups, techniques and tactics to inform information security defenses and technology decisions
*  Manage security operations projects, including process improvement and technology investment
*  Manage staff responsible for security incidents, vulnerability management; manage relationships with Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs) or other vendors providing support or services related to information security operations
*  Leads, coaches, mentors, provides direction and thought leadership to teams and individuals in the delivery of technical security solution and capabilities

Minimum Qualifications:
*  Education - University Degree. CISSP required. CISM or CISA certifications would be an asset.
*  At least eight years of relevant information technology experience with working knowledge of providing IT services - infrastructure, application management and development, data management, mobile and cloud technologies (public, private, hybrid, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
