The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is seeking a Computer Support Technician to join the Information Technology team to provide customer service and support related to various technologies across the organization.
Accountabilities
Respond to service and support requests related to Windows desktop computers and servers, audio/visual/video conferencing, multi-function printers, smartphones, mobile devices (iPads), VoIP phone systems and cloud-based applications
Assist SRC employees with cloud application issues in Microsoft Office 365 and Azure
Set up systems and equipment, assist with computer system moves
Train, maintain, troubleshoot and coordinate repairs with third-party vendors
Specification, configuration and pricing for desktop systems
Assist with the roll out of new technologies
Manage software licensing and installation
Assist with network maintenance and troubleshooting
Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
Qualifications
Previous technical experience with office equipment and desktop computer systems (Windows 10, Microsoft Office O365, Azure) is an asset
Diploma or certificate in a computer-related program is an asset
One to two years experience is preferred
Understanding of remote-control tools for support and analysis

The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
