Overview:
As part of the Community and Leisure Services Department, the City of Humboldt is currently seeking to fill a permanent full-time Custodian position to begin immediately.
Reporting to the Director of Community and Leisure Services, the primary duties involve custodial work including cleaning floors, washrooms, disinfecting, restocking supplies, emptying garbage, vacuuming, and cleaning windows. This position also requires assistance with event set-up and take-down, including stage, tables, and chairs. The successful individual will also be responsible for event supervision by providing support to renters of the facilities.
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12
First Aid & CPR
WHMIS and Fire Extinguisher Training
Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid Class 5 drivers license is preferred
Custodial training or experience is preferred
Compensation:
This is an in-scope (union) position with a starting wage of $18.94/hour (2022 rate).
