Start Date:    August 25, 2022     
Hours:        Schedule to be determined
Rate of Pay:    As per SEIU-West Agreement

Required Skills/Training:    
Minimum Grade 12 education.
Bilingual or competent in the French language.
Training or experience in the French Immersion programming will be considered an asset.
Certification in Early Childhood Education (Level 1, 2 or 3) will be considered an asset.
Educational Assistant, Personal Care Aide or similar related areas and/or related experience would be considered an asset.
Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention would be considered an asset.
Experience with, and ability to handle, high needs children with a variety of emotional needs would be considered an asset.
Experience with, and ability to handle, the needs of Elementary aged children would be considered an asset.
Based on the needs of individual students, ability to provide assistance in occupational therapy, physical therapy, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring and transportation could be required.
First Aid/CPR would be considered an asset.
Possess a current and valid drivers license.
  
Requirements:    
Familiarity and understanding of the practices of the Roman Catholic Faith
Recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check upon employment
