Summary of Work

Reporting directly to owner and Quality Control Officer, the role of a Production Worker is to assist with blending, packaging, and quality of the finished product.

The entire Production team is responsible for loading and unloading products, preparing ingredients for mixing, packaging finished mixed powder into jars, labeling, sealing and palletizing finished product, general maintenance of packaging equipment, and most importantly, housekeeping duties.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in a production role would be considered an asset but is not required.
Must be able to speak and understand English
Ability to complete repetitive tasks
Must be able to lift 25kg drums and stand for 6-8 hours a day
Sanitizing, wearing a lab coat, hair net, beard cover and gloves is a must in this environment

Working Conditions:
Oversee the day to day operation of the production process
Ensure entire production rooms are cleaned and sanitized at the end of each day
Reassemble packaging equipment after it has been sanitized and dried after production runs
Oversee staff and ensure smooth, and QUICK workflow
Ensure that production rooms are safe, secure, and complies with Health Canada regulations & enforce safety rules and regulations
Ensure production runs are completed on time
Ability to stay late to ensure deadlines are met

Motivate production staff
Report to Quality Control Officer
