As the Senior Android Developer, your main responsibility will be to manage projects and develop innovative applications that enhance the ways our members experience Affinity. Your role as the development and database manager will be to apply your in-depth knowledge of Kotlin, Java and the Android SDK to maintain and enhance our Android mobile banking application. You'll be responsible for writing thorough, well designed and unit-tested mobile applications. You'll provide guidance and expertise to other developers so they can translate business requirements into software that delivers value for our members.
Affinity has a history of being an industry leader in launching innovative digital banking tools. We work in a modern development environment and use all the latest hardware. Some of our past accomplishments include:
- MobilePay using NFC/HCE technology
- SecureKey ConciergeTM
- LockNBlock
- Apple Pay
- Block Chain based applications

We're looking for someone with:
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge in Android application development, including experience in the Kotlin and Java programming languages
- Knowledge of server side technologies such as C# (.Net) would be an asset
- A basic understanding of the financial services industry would be an asset.
