SUMMARY:
Assists Spa Manager with the daily operations of the Sun Tree Spa (Retail, Reservations, & Spa Services), Pool and Cafe with a major focus on weekly payroll, inventory, and associate training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributes to achieving the key results areas required for each service, including monthly targets
Directs, coaches and mentors hotel associates, including directing the general daily workload
Applies standards of Leading Spas of Canada, ISPA standards and practices and provincial and federal regulations
Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor as befits one of Canada's top 100 spas
Optimizes spa bookings; managing timing, schedules and assignment of treatment rooms
Monitors service quality, addressing guest concerns where necessary
Contributes towards a respectful workplace conducive to high performance and positive cultural spirit
Schedule will include working evenings and weekends
Other duties as reasonably required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong leadership skills, demonstrated with at least one year of industry experience
Proven excellence in customer service
Demonstrable interest in the spa industry
Experience of administration in a cost controlled environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work with minimal supervision, making decisions and managing meet deadlines
Knowledge of spa products and services
Knowledge of Make-Up Applications an asset
Computer literacy required
Business administration certificate or equivalent would be an asset
Pool Operators Course is an asset
