DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide prompt, accurate, efficient and friendly service to customers.
2. Take customer orders.
3. Handle complaints and errors of a minor nature.
4. Prepare beverages, salads, sandwiches, meat and cheese trays for customers.
5. Prepare hot foods specific to location.
6. Stock coolers and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used.
7. Receive payment from customers.
8. Observe safety measures and report hazardous conditions immediately to the Department Manager.
9. Watch the best before and code dates closely.
10. Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties as per association standards.
11. Operate equipment necessary to prepare merchandise for sale.
12. Provide proper maintenance of equipment, monitor case temperatures, clean equipment regularly and notify manager in reference torepairs.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1. Ability to process bills and cash registers.
2. Knowledge of promoting, selling and preparing of food products
3. Good listening and communication skills
4. Ability to adhere to and uphold sanitation standards.
WORKING HOURS: Working is scheduled for 9 hours with 1-hour unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute coffee breaks. Shifts starts at 7 am,7:30 am, 8 am, 8:30 am, etc. with the last shift starting at 12:30 am and ending at 9:30 pm. Management roles typically end by 4 pm.
