Job Description: Responsible for providing Physiotherapy treatment and services to Region Residents
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
Unique clinical opportunities including patients of all ages in various settings e.g. long-term care, home-visits, outpatient and inpatient care. Outpatients with musculoskeletal conditions form the majority of caseloads, but also various pediatric, neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions. Health promotion through community initiatives. Position is based out of Buffalo Narrows with regular travel to La Loche. Physical therapy services are provided in-person in the far northwest to La Loche, Buffalo Narrows, Beauval, Ile a la Crosse and Patuanak. Mentorship is available. Northern Benefits as per HSAS Collective Bargaining Agreement:
- Up to $3000.00 relocation assistance
- Retention bonus per year of service of $3650
- Employees who complete one year of service shall be entitled to an extra one (1) week of vacation (Special North Leave) in addition to regular vacation leave
- Northern allowance provision (up to $240 bi-weekly)
