Description

The Lac La Ronge Food Bank is seeking the services of a part time Food Bank Coordinator.

These services are required because of increasing operational demands. A minimum of 10 hours per week will be required at the rate of $20/hr.  

Required Skills and Abilities:
-    Be familiar with and have a passion for our tri-community - especially regarding food security
-    Have good organizational and people skills
-    Computer Skills including data entry, social media posting
-    Ability to work flexible hours
-    Ability to lift weights up to 20kg (usually groceries)
-    A valid drivers license with access to a reliable vehicle
Services Required:
-    Coordination of volunteers for packing, organizing & delivering food hampers
-    Order, purchase and pick up food at local grocery stores as required
-    Assist in the in recruitment of volunteers
-    Assist with client intake and entry into Link2feed data base
-    Manage Food Bank Facebook page and email account
-    Assist in keeping Food Bank room organized
-    Attendance at monthly Food Bank Board meetings
-    Training of volunteers
-    Perform other duties as may be required at the direction of the Board Chair/Vice-Chair

The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
