HDCS is looking for a CASUAL/Part-Time Direct Support Team Member for our group home - Hilda Home.
In this position you will be responsible for guiding and supporting residents in a manner that presents each participant as a unique individual.
You will provide appropriate supervision to residents within a safe, clean, nurturing environment.
Be able to develop and maintain an awareness of the needs of each resident.
Demonstrate a responsible, caring attitude toward the spiritual, physical, social and emotional well-being and development of each resident.
You will be responsible for preparing nutritional meals and you will be required to provide resident personal care.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's license and First Aid/CPR
- Demonstrate strong oral and written
communication skills, teaching/coaching skills,
and relational skills with participants and their families, peers, etc.
- Demonstrate qualities of trust, respect and
empathy
