Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensures a high level of prompt, efficient and friendly service to customers and members
2. Operate cash register as required
3. Supervise and train team members and monitor progress as required
4. Assign and monitor job responsibilities
5. Authorize merchandise returns
6. Handle any customer complaints or issues that arise
7. Maintain consistent buying and selling policies
8. Maintain competitive prices and initiate price checks
9. Maintain inventory levels and assist with stocking shelves
10. Assist in receiving and warehousing of department merchandise
11. Supervise and initiate attractive displays of merchandise
12. Observe safety measures and report hazardous conditions immediately to the Department Manager.
13. Maintain records
14. Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties as per co-operative guidelines

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1. Ability to motivate and supervise team members to attain quality and quantity of production
2. Good English communication skills

WORKING HOURS: Working is scheduled for 9 hours with 1-hour unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute coffee breaks. Shifts starts at 7 am, 7:30 am, 8 am, 8:30 am, etc. with the last shift starting at 12:30 am and ending at 9:30 pm. Management roles typically end by 4 pm.

BENEFITS:
1. After 3 months of employment = Will be eligible in the Company benefits program, which may be modified from time to time at the sole discretion of the Company. This program includes health, vision, dental, disability and life insurance, the cost of which is shared equally between the company and the employee.
2. After 12 months of employment = 3 weeks paid vacation per year
3. After 12 months of employment = Will be eligible to participate in the company pension plan offering a 6% company match.
