We are looking for an individual to join our small team to be a bookkeeper and general office assistant. Our candidate will possess excellent communication, organization, and office skills. They must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
Good people skills
Attention to detail & organized
General office admin tasks and supportive duties
Accounts Payable and Receivable management - ensure vendor and customer accounts are maintained, up to date and accurate
Reconcile accounts: credit card, bank accounts, monthly vendors statements
Perform clerical duties such as word processing, maintaining filing, and record systems
Prepare and file tax remittances
Year End Preparation
Payroll duties provided candidate has experience
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset
1+ year of full cycle bookkeeping experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
Proficient written and oral English skills
Competitive salary/hourly based on experience
Full-time hours with some flexibility
