Wage:$17/Hour

Employment Terms:
    Contract: 8 months  
    Possible Start Date: September 12th  
    Up to 10 hours per week
    Primarily Saturday work

Job Summary:
Are you passionate about empowering young people? Do you have a passion for the speech arts? Doyouenjoy reasoned discussions and debates?SEDA is looking for an energeticperson tohelp coordinate our speech and debate events


Responsibilities and Duties
Employee may not be responsible for all listed duties. We will work with the successful candidate to determine which area of program coordination fits their skill set. Some travel to events outside of saskatoon may be required.  
  
-Report directly to Executive Director and Administrative Assistant
-The Program Coordinator will be required to work some evenings and weekends
-Programs include tournaments, workshops, and potential outreach-related activities
-Assist with grant & fundraising strategies related to programming
-Assist in tournament operations for both in-person and online events
-Lead briefings for event participants
-Managing tabs (debate scores)
-General hosting duties  
-Managing technical and personnel issues as needed

Qualifications and Skills

o    Minimumgrade 12 education
o    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
o    Leadership experience, and team oriented
o    Reliableandorganized
o    Speech and or debate experience  
o    Experience with Zoom an asset  
o    Access to vehicle
o    Successful criminal record and vulnerable sector check
