Come join a non-profit organization that provide individuals with learning disabilities the Right to Learn and the Right to Achieve.

The Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan is looking to fill a Financial Controller position. This important role is part of the LDAS leadership team and is responsible for directing, developing, and assisting with the execution of all accounting functions, managing the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assessing accounting and internal control systems, overseeing payroll, guiding departmental staff, oversight of IT requirements, and supervising the administrative team.

*Ability to work independently under pressure
*Excellent analytical and organizational skills; the ability to think and plan ahead and manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines  
*Excellent decision-making and time-management skill
*Strong attention to detail to maintain organizational systems

Education and Experience:
*A relevant bachelor's degree
*A CPA designation is considered a huge asset, although equivalent experience and/or CPA candidate
*Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management including a strong background in finance, accounting, budgeting, payroll, and cost control principles
*Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
*Experience using payroll and accounting software
*Experience in a non-profit agency will be considered an asset
