Triple S Transport is a family owned company that has been operating since 1995. We have a full line of various flat deck and step deck trailers along with all different makes of trucks. We are looking to be able to provide Government Inspection Certificates from our shop.
Job Description and/or Duties, including but not limited to;
- Full time Day Shift Mechanic
- Must be willing to learn new skills and participate in training opportunities
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe vehicle operation
- Troubleshoot problems in vehicle engines, electrical systems, heat and air conditioning, steering brakes, suspensions
- Repair, replace or overhaul parts. Rebuild diesel engines, install and repair accessories, repair and adjust seats, doors and windows.
- Complete work orders to record work performed and maintain paperwork to comply with government regulations.
- Repairing heavy trucks and trailers
Requirements:
- Must have CSA approved steel toed boots
- Valid Class 5 drivers license, class 1A will be an asset
- Heavy lifting
- Working in cramped areas
- Be a productive, self-motivated problem solver that can work well with others
- Be willing to upgrade your skills and take constructive criticism
- Work occasional outdoors, evenings and weekends along with emergency calls
