Brandt is currently seeking a Payroll Clerk for our Regina location. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Clerk supports the Human Resources department and Payroll functions. This position provides administrative support to the Payroll team allowing them to focus on processing and auditing pay. The ideal candidate will be an organized, strong communicator, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Previous payroll experience is an asset, but not a requirement of the position.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide administrative support to relieve some of the workload from the Payroll Administrators, taking on various tasks
-Management of employee data in HRIS
-Provide responses to enquiries from employees and managers by managing payroll@brandt.ca email address
-Emailing out commission statements
-Creation of wage verification letters
-Administration of vacation requests and accruals
-Reporting of data out of HRIS system
-Management of data in Time Tracking system
-Other administrative duties as assigned including scanning & filing
-Maintaining employee personnel files

-Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge with payroll and timekeeping systems is an asset, but not a requirement
