You will be responsible for day-to-day analysis of laboratory samples by wet chemistry and instrumentation methods. You are familiar with the operation of inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) and alpha counting spectrometer. You will participate in quality assurance and quality control activities within the lab operation and assist with corrective and preventative action planning and implementation. You will perform maintenance of analytical equipment in the lab, mill and mine, and provide coverage to the McArthur River satellite lab as needed.

Requirements of the position:
- Chemical technology diploma
- Two to three years relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of chemical laboratory principles and procedures
- You are a team player with the ability to work independently with safety as a core value
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs
- Willing to work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
- Experience with an x-ray fluorescence spectrometer
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and SAP
