Description

Canora Rural Public Utility Board is currently seeking applications for a contract maintenance/water operator.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- regular inspection and monitoring of pump houses, booster stations
- sampling, monitoring, record keeping of water quality
- meter and pipeline installations
- general repair and maintenance of pipeline & subscriber connections
- meter readings

Qualification Requirements:
- Possess and maintain at min. a Small Systems Water Treatment Certification (applicants who do not have their certification but are interested in obtaining it will be considered as well)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to perform physical labour
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Be on-call (work irregular hours)

Successful applicant may have the opportunity to work with the current Water Operator for training purposes.
