Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports directly to Chief and Council of Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation. He/she provides leadership, accountability, and operational program support to Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation. This position is responsible for the effective implementation of the Financial Management Act of the Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation and is the administrative head of the Finance Department. The CFO is responsible for the overall management and reporting of the financial affairs, manages the day-to-day accounting procedures, assists in the development and administration of financial policies and procedures.  The CFO provides overall leadership and guidance to finance staff of the Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation.
