Summary of Position

Off Campus Program Coordinator permanent, full time (7.5 hours per day, 197 days per year, following the school calendar) commencing August 25, 2020 to June 30, 2021. The successful candidate will work with another coordinator to support a small group of students aged 12 to 16 from North Battleford Comprehensive High School. The starting hourly wage for this position is $24.23 (depending on education). Benefits and a matched pension are available.
Planning behavioural, academic, social and transitional programming;
Organizing and providing a multi-agency program to support individual student needs;

Supporting transitions into educational and/or workplace settings;
Working as a team with school administration, teachers, and community agencies to assist with implementation of?specialized programming; and
Liaising with families or guardians of youth to assist with healthy choices.
  
Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Education, Justice or Social Work, or related field
Experience and training working with at risk youth (Educator or Social Worker or Justice);
The ability to take initiative with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment;
Exemplarily communication and interpersonal skills; and
Passion and energy to engage youth.
