Description

Duties Plan, coordinate, schedule, book meetings, sessions and training opportunities Required to develop a community-led plan including consultants if available, Elders, mentors, administration, etc; Coordinate and collect data and statistics from community navigators, mentorship sessions, quarterly meetings; Update Community Navigator List Assist with preparation of the Board Meetings. Assist with scheduling of training dates. Develop memos, reports, briefing notes and general planning documents and presentations; Compile and review of draft reporting documents and presentation materials; Compile and report monthly on all work performed (ie. mentorships sessions); Monthly newsletter to community navigators, mentors and stakeholders, new developments and opportunities, community navigator stories, etc. Plan and coordinate the community navigator quarterly meetings and professional development. training; Keep track of statistics and mentor/mentee meeting outcomes. File management Must be able to work independently and remotely Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision Other duties as assigned Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit Youth Under 30 Years old. Knowledge in comprehensive community planning; Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team player Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, word press, database and internet research. Ability to use email management software Strong oral and written communication skills Exceptional organization, time-management and planning skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Highly motivated and ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment. Experience in group planning and facilitation an asset Drivers licence and reliable vehicle Working conditions Must work remotely. Travel is required to complete necessary job duties. Flexible work hours will be required.
