Description

The City of Swift Current is inviting applications for three seasonal labourers. These positions will involve weekend and holiday work, and varied shifts of 8, 10 and 12 hours, to meet operational requirements.

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, you will mainly be responsible for janitorial related duties, care and maintenance of buildings, equipment, furnishings and surrounding grounds at the InnovationPlex, Fairview Arenas, Dickson Community Centre and the Lt. Colonel Clifton Centre.

Basic Requirements:
Completion of Grade 12;
Willingness to become Youth Certified;
Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Motor Vehicle Operators License;
Ability to operate maintenance equipment with due care and attention;
Ability to use simple hand tools and basic power equipment required for building and grounds maintenance;
Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and possess initiative with respect to duties and responsibilities; and
Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the general public in person or over the phone.
