Developing a strong working relationship with Elmwoods management team and staff to maintain the overall clubhouse facility, golf course and a quality experience for members and guests
Working with the Board of Directors and management team to develop an annual budget, membership rates and monitoring finances throughout the season, including the approval of expenditures in the budget.
Ensuring Elmwood facilities are clean and in good working order for staff to carry out their functions and to maximize the experience for members and guests.
Building community partnerships and act as the primary point of contact for individuals or groups seeking to hold events at Elmwood
Coordinating communication with the management team and staff to facilitate operations.
Marketing and development including enhanced social media presence and communication with members
Providing input into the hiring, development, coaching and evaluation of Elmwood employees
Growing Elmwood revenues by promoting events, fundraising and grant applications
Willingness to learn and build positive relationships and provide an energetic example for all Elmwood staff
Such other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors from time to time.
Compensation is dependent on the experience of the successful Candidate. Elmwood offers benefits through the Chamber of Commerce benefits plan. With a strong board and experienced management team including Greens Superintendent, Director of Food & Beverage and Director of Golf, the successful candidate can learn and grow into the position. With a dedicated board, Elmwood can offer coaching and additional training to individuals willing to learn. The position is Monday to Friday, with a commitment for additional hours to support other managers during the playing season and with significant flexibility during winter hours.
