Mixed animal veterinarian is required for our team! Are you looking for a close knit group that you can call a team? We want you! Our clinic was built 9 years ago, is modern and spacious to accommodate all patients from the tiniest chihuahua to large horses and bulls. The majority of bovine obstetrics are done in clinic. We dabble a bit in mostly everything and would like to be adding someone who has some special interests as well. Salary range is $87 000 to $115 000 depending on level of experience and what special interests you have. On top of that, we offer a complete package of benefits including a group insurance plan, matched RRSP contributions, bonuses, 3 weeks holidays, CE allowance (healthy), VIN membership, paid CE days and some other staff perks.
Our current team is the owner (14 years in practice) doing mixed, a small animal only veterinarian 4 days a week, 3 technicians, and 3 CSR/Assistants. We encourage students to volunteer here and have had a number of tech practicum, veterinary mentorship and preceptorship students over the years. Everyday is a learning opportunity, hence the practice of medicine.
After hours call is a reality here, but its low call volume and compensation is paid for time on call and per call seen. We can negotiate the time on call and can be really flexible to accommodate your life.
