Seeking a full time veterinary technologist to join our team. Mixed animal practice that does approximately 70% small animal and 30% large animal case load. The technologist role is integral in the day to day operation of the clinic and client care, from admission to discharge and everything in between. We strive to have a high level of continuing education including fear free training.

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Registered animal technician
- Registration by a provincial or territorial, or regional association as Registered Animal Health Technologist, Registered Veterinary Technician
Specific Skills
- Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian
- Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian
- Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Counsel clients on animal health care
- Conduct specialized procedures on animals such as animal identification and hoof trimming
- Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
