Description

Finning Canada is hiring Heavy Duty Mechanics!

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment
Component replacements
Large scale overhauls and rebuilds
New equipment preparation
Interface with customers, product, and sales support
Working with supervisors on various tasks
Equipment and facility continuous improvements
Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Various related duties as required

Qualifications:

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment required.  
Journeyperson Truck and Transport, Journeyperson Agriculture and Journeyperson Automotive Certification will be considered based on experience
Apprentices will be considered based on experience.
Valid drivers license with a successful recent driver abstract
Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
Previous experience with Caterpillar equipment/engines would be considered an asset.
Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset.
Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset.
Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset.
Completion of Caterpillar product courses would be considered an asset
Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
