SCH Maintenance Services is committed to providing superior maintenance services for the Regina Bypass. We are responsible for general maintenance and repair of approximately 61 km of four-lane highway, 12 overpasses, 11 interchanges, and 37 KM of service road, ensuring we keep these roads safe for the traveling public. We are seeking seasonal (Winter) Highway Maintenance Patroller/Operators, to start as soon as possible. This position is from October 15 2022 to April 30 2023.
Mandatory requirements:
Must have a 3A or 1A  driver licence & clean driver abstract. Please have that showing on your resume.
Pre hiring negative drug and alcohol testing required (provided by the company).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Patrol & monitor highway for weather & road conditions, communicate with foreman
Operate equipment in a safe & efficient manner
Locate & identifies hazards
Provide traffic control at accident scenes
Complies with WHMIS, TDG, and OH&S regulations
Participate in safe work practices, procedures & safety meetings
Regular inspection of equipment, perform preventative & general maintenance
Review completed work, ensure appropriate documentation is completed
Deals with the public in a courteous manner
Successful candidates will have the following additional qualifications:
Able to complete physically demanding work, work outside in varying weather conditions
Team player with strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills, open to suggestions & able to implement them
Must have computer/smartphone technology knowledge
Must have reliable transportation & residence within 30 KM of Regina.

Starting wage is 28.00 per hour
Shift work is required night shift and day shift. SCH offers competitive wages along with a full comprehensive benefit package after 300 hours. Successful candidates must be able to meet all safety requirements including pre-employment testing.
