Description

Wild West Steelhead is a fully integrated aquaculture company operating a recirculation hatchery, cage culture site and a processing plant on Lake Diefenbaker in Saskatchewan. The company is one of the largest trout producers in Canada with plans for expansion. We are currently recruiting processors.

This position is responsible to the processing supervisor for a variety of services and procedure related to the filleting process and products generated at the fish farm.

Key Areas of responsibility:
Overseeing the automated filleting process and manually trimming and washing of fillets, including packing and all duties related to the preparation and loading of product for shipment to customers.

Performing sanitation services related to the site in general and to the plant and machinery in particular. Meeting the requirements and standards of the federal Canadian Food Inspection Agency in regards to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).

Maintaining all appropriate detailed records and providing required and timely information to the supervisor.

Performs other duties as required.
