Description

The Palliser Plains Co-op Association Ltd. invites applications for the position of casual Petroleum Driver to join the team at our Shamrock location. Reporting to the Petroleum Manager, the Petroleum Driver will be responsible for providing information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which aligns with the Co-op vision and values.  

Key duties include (but are not limited to):
o    Completing assigned petroleum deliveries, maintaining a delivery schedule, and ensuring the timely delivery of all products
o    Operating delivery unit in a safe and lawful manner, including truck/trailer circle checks
o    Verifying that product type(s) and quantity(s) match delivery manifest before travelling
o    Delivering and placing products according to customer requests
o    Ensuring all products delivered are invoiced correctly
o    Regularly maintaining and cleaning the delivery unit
o    Maintaining service records at the Bulk Plant and ensuring all driver reports are accurate, and completed in a timely manner
o    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
o    A clean driving record and a Class 3A license is required, 1A license preferred
o    Experience delivering petroleum products is preferred
o    Customer service oriented
o    Responsible, mature, positive and professional attitude
o    Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
o    Ability to operate a variety of equipment (required training will be provided)
o    Comfortable lifting or moving up to 50lbs and climbing ladders
o    Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions
