Park Play Early Learning Center is a non-profit organization and operates a new 90-space Center located in Rosewood neighborhood in Regina. We are currently hiring permanent full time Childhood Educators. The successful applicants must have at least 1 year experience with Early Childhood Education Certificate or Diploma.
Responsibilities:
This position will enhance the curriculum and the children's learning in many ways, in both planned and spontaneous play, by implementing activities and following the interest of the children between 18 months and 5 years old.
Planning and implementing an enriched Early Learning Program, focused on the individual needs and interests of the children.
Maintaining on-going positive interactions with the children during classroom activities on an individual, small, or large group basis.
Using a variety of strategies to guide childrens developmental skills in accordance with policies and procedures as set out in applicable regulations and standards.
Planning, organizing, and/or facilitating family education and family/child groups that reflect the needs and interests of the families.
Promote wellbeing and encouraging growth and development in children in addition to respecting each childs uniqueness and individual needs.
Providing a safe environment that maintains orderly, clean, and appealing facilities, removing known and potential safety hazards.
ECE Level I/II
Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR-C, Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
A sound theoretical and practical understanding of typical child development
A solid understanding of Play and Exploration Curriculum
Excellent communication skills
