Ground Truth Ag is an agtech start-up creating our first product to measure and report real-time grain quality during harvest.
We're seeking a full-time team member to develop and integrate the electronics components of our product. Our solution integrates mechanical hardware with electronic sensors to our database for further data processing. A strong candidate will have experience in the design and implementation of an electronics system for a mechanical device, including circuit boards, electronics assemblies, communication protocols and firmware. The candidate will be accurate and meticulous with a problem-solving attitude and troubleshooting mindset.
For this phase of company growth, you'll be responsible for the success of this development program. You'll be supported by a highly engaged management team, interdisciplinary team members, and an extremely qualified team of contractors and advisors.
Minimum qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Electronics Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Systems Engineering Technology with additional experience, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
-Hands on experience designing and developing electronic circuits for sensors, motors, and actuators
-Demonstrated knowledge and experience of embedded systems like Arduino, Raspberry Pi and/or other related system
Preferred qualifications:
-Experience designing feedback control systems for motors and actuators
-Experience with embedded systems for the development of control systems, their mutual integration and integration with mechanical systems
-Hands on experience designing and assembling printed circuits
Included tasks:
-Plan, design, and build the electronics control systems for our product
-Work with the cross-disciplinary team to support the integration of the various systems of our solution
-Test custom printed circuit board designs
-Troubleshoot firmware
-Set up revision testing
