Ground Truth Ag is an agtech start-up creating our first product to measure and report real-time grain quality during harvest.

We're seeking a full-time team member responsible for the design, development, and testing of our back-end software solution. The system will ingest significant amounts of data from various sources that will be processed and presented to the end user through an application interface. A strong candidate will be highly motivated with a great ability to understand and apply structured logic regardless of the programming language. Coding will also be required.

For this first phase of company growth, you'll be responsible for the success of this development program. You'll be supported by a highly engaged management team, interdisciplinary team members, and an extremely qualified team of contractors and advisors.

Minimum qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
-Experience working with a variety of programming languages to develop commercial-grade software applications; experience working with C#.NET and/or Java is preferred
-Experience working in Software Engineering, Applications Development, Web Development, and/or Computer Programming
-3 years of experience developing web applications with HTML5 and/or JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, or JQuery)

Preferred qualifications:
-Experience with RESTful APIs and web services especially Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS
-In-depth knowledge of data management including relational and non-relational databases

Included tasks:
-Build and maintain the backend infrastructure for data management
-Handle incoming data from hardware deployed in the field
-Support statistical analysis and machine learning
-Support your team by creating widgets and scripts
-Provide input on best available software tools for specific tasks
-Work with the team to setup test benches effectively
