Description

Seeking Hydrovac Operators in Province of Saskatchewan, not limited to Saskatoon.

- Perform debris removal, slot trenching,
  daylighting and digging
- Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding
  mat procedures for Hydrovac operation
- Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a
  safe and professional manner
- Monitor and maintain all Hydrovac equipment;
  ensure all components are in good working
  order and adhering to maintenance schedules
- Complete all required paperwork properly on a
  daily basis
- Ensure proper function by performing pre and
  post trip inspections and general
  housekeeping - report any inefficiencies to
  Supervisor
- Complete and maintain Driver Logs per DOT
  Regulations
- Maintain and use appropriate personal
  protective equipment
- Follow all policies and procedures set out by
  Sinc Underground Services and manufacturer
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
  or crew leader
Experience Required
- Experience operating a manual transmission
  with direct experience on 18 speed vehicles
- Previous experience in the telecommunication
  industry considered an asset
- Knowledge of ELD based systems is considered
  an asset
- Certification in fall protection, first aid,
  construction safety training (CSTS), ground
  disturbance, confined spaces, H2S,
  transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) and
  WHMIS 2015 considered an asset
Knowledge an Skills
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye
  coordination, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in all weather conditions,
  confined spaces, isolation
- Ability to work in a physically demanding
  atmosphere, must be able to lift and carry
  50lbs+
Additional Requirements
- Valid drivers license with a G-Endorsement
  for Heavy Trailer (preference given to Class
  1 or Class 3)
- Clean drivers abstract
- The successful candidate will be required to
  pass a criminal record check
